Google Classroom

During this crucial moment of the situation due to the pandemic outbreak of the COVID 19 many school and institutions were closed,  where teachers keep their lessons running remotely. where schools and institutions sought a way to guarantee the students didn't waste precious study time. We call this "distance learning," and many teachers, whether working in a virtual school or facing a unique event, are exploring how to make it work. Right now, we 're facing this kind of concern over the transmission of COVID-19 are closing schools across the globe and millions of students are unable to physically attend school.  Due to this I as a learner, I learned many features are available for free to anyone who uses G Suite around the world such as google meet, google classroom, and so on.

Google classroom practice process
Google Classroom is a free online service created by Google for schools aimed at simplifyingthe development, delivery, and evaluation of assignments. Google Classroom's primary goal is to streamline the process of exchanging files between teachers and students. It's estimated that between 40 and 100 million people use google classrooms.

In the later phase of my life as an educator, I felt that it is very important to keep the ICT knowledge on our tip of hands so that can tackle whatever situation we might face like COVID 19. By assigning assignments and performing an online test, the workload of teachers is reduced. We don't even have to wait until the next day to give you information or an announcement, we can post it at any time. we can easily see who has submitted and who has no and grade accordingly. Also, Google Applications are cloud-based, they stay on the Internet rather than on your hard drive. Works in Google Classroom are stored automatically and can be accessed from any computer.

Short view of my promotional video as a general overview on the lesson

Google classroom mode to deliver the lesson to learners is effective plus learners can download the materials in order to help them in doing the assignment well. not only that I feel it is the right innovative platform where we can conduct quizzes mainly to see how much the learners has learned.

Situating Tools

Situating tool means putting someone in real life situation to experience the context and happenings.
Exploring and learning about the situating tools in this semester is worth studying. Where I got the ideas about how the devices put learners in an area where they may observe a learning background or atmosphere or activities. This method is realistic and very immersive in design, where the consumer believes like they are located in a true learning area. Through this program, students are encouraged to conceptualize their ideas about the actual world by bringing hypotheses about reality. This program will even render a student an autonomous learner in his or her life. Examples – layout modeling and discovery toolkits, sports, graph calc.com, google map (finding the time), virtual field trips, Twitter, digital camera, photo, artist, mind mapping, problem-solving services, and so on.

As a learner, I understood that it helps to situate learners’ in an environment to experience the context and happenings. By means of virtual reality (RS) extension systems, the computer can create 3-D images on display to give the user the feeling that is situated in a virtual environment. I also noticed that the development and application of simulation in teaching and learning is the most significant illustration of a situating method that lets learners understand a real-world environment that can be accomplished. After discussing the situating tool, I came to know that simulation makes decision-making for our learners, boosts problem-solving skills, and manipulates the elements of the model.

In fact, I have actually noticed that there are several advantages or significance to the usage of situating methods in the area of education. Some of the importance of this is that it puts the user in an environment, understands and manipulates variables, and communicates with other users, fosters creativity and visualization skills.

I also believe that schools with sufficient computers and connections to decent internet services provide teachers with the ability to involve students succeed in their learning. In fact, it also offers them the ability to connect with the actual world scenarios without risk and challenge and to allow learning and learning success significant.

Camtasia as a constructive tool

Camtasia video on recording two-digit subtraction

It was a really enriching experience to work on the Camtasia app.  It is a resource to construct interactive seminars and PowerPoint presentations. It helps you to capture the display of the image and at the same time capture the audio describing the presentations. It's also a fun learning tool. This is because there is a full replacement in conventional instruction and images to make the viewers attract.

As a consequence of the pandemic of COVID 19, we can see that video lessons (e-learning) are becoming ubiquitous and draw people's attention as children will see their teacher's lecture from a video containing unique content. As an assignment when we were asked to use Camtasia to create a video tutorial. I figured it was a perfect chance to learn and reflect on it because we were well introduced to presenting the lesson by the film.
Camtasia App
However, it was very difficult to work and understand the whole method to create a successful video tutorial. Everything was worth moving to, having the video tutorial of own. while making I have come across new ideas that have helped me update these technologies. It was definitely a lot of fun, and there was comprehensive participation.

I discovered that Camtasia is one of the powerful methods of positive learning that we can use to render teaching and learning more enriching and enjoyable. Use these resources has provided a platform for learners to acquire more knowledge. It also provided an opportunity for learners to revisit the lesson repeatedly if they are not clear about concepts. The learners will view the video at any time they choose. In addition, teachers can work on the delivery of lessons to learners. After the completion of making the video lesson, uploading on Facebook was really wonderful to show our hard work to other mates plus to get views from mates in order to work on the loopholes.

Google Doc as co-constructive tool

Video on how to proceed with a google doc

To the moment, I've been introduced to Google Docs, once the teacher assigns us group work, we had to determine whether to meet up with friends and collaborate on assignments. When we do that because of some circumstances, some of the members of the group are not in a position to engage in a group discussion. So working on assignments is prolonged for some reason. With the introduction to google docs, I understood that it is a word processor used as part of a downloadable, web-based office application package provided by Google under the Google Drive program. The software also provides Google Sheets and Google Slides, a spreadsheet, and a slideshow system. Its application is compatible with Microsoft Office file formats. The program helps users to build and update files digitally when communicating with other users in real-time. Edits are monitored by a consumer with a revision history indicating improvements. The location of the author is illustrated with an author-specific color and cursor. The permissions program controls what users may do with it.

Google slides

I realize through using this method, we don't need to wait for comments on a newly finished piece of work. What has substituted this is our usage of Google Documents and Slides as a platform for the collective creation of concepts, from an original thought and developing strategies to final editing and refinement. This also introduced a modern learning system that streamlines the input cycle, allows for more transparency, and turns the method into one that is richly interactive.

Co-Construction

ICT as a co-constructive Tool
VLE discussion forum
Co-constructive tools support the construction of some tangible projects by students as a manifestation of their knowledge construction. Nonetheless, these methods vary from proactive methods in that students work collaboratively with them to develop a common understanding, rather than working individually to create some sort of personal knowledge. The co-constructive tool encourages both the teacher and the students to produce an efficient result. The usage of collaborative technology in an instructional sense improves student interaction with the material of the course, enriches the learning experience, and promotes active involvement through curriculum development. A co-constructive tool such as Google docs (docs.google.com), electronic whiteboard, Blogs and wikis, facebook, and discussion forum on portals (pce.edu.bt).

Google Doc
Co-constructive resources allowed us involved in the classroom as we could create a lesson plan as a community via Google Docs. It was also observed that it was easy for the instructor to determine how many participants engaged in the exercise or not. Using this application, each member of a group was given the opportunity to share their views while planning a lesson plan on any subject. In addition, if one of the members commits mistakes, the other members can modify them immediately. This was the amazing experience I had because we didn't know how to do a group activity before and when. I thought it was going to be taught in the first year so that we could use this application to discuss any kind of work before. Help individualized instruction and gives us valuable formative comments that will help improve the quality of the work. Google Documents lets us develop community tasks, allowing us to connect and share digitally while improving our learning experience.

On the other side, Google Docs led us to misalign any perception of a participant. Around the same time, various participants offer specific views, so we are puzzled about how we will respond so agree on comments. If everybody responds to the topics that concern us, it's hard to decipher all the details. While we've got a comment list on the right side of the messages we've all sent at once and we can't make sure our points are in order. The suggestion I can give in this lesson is Google docs can be appropriate if we can complete our tasks when all the members are present in the session. If not through online discussion, the task won’t be that effective as all the members write at the same time.

Facebook as a co-constructive tool
where peers can give
constructive comments on our work
Using blog and Facebook as a co-constructive tool help learners to comment on each other work for further furnishing of the write-up and works. To use blogs in constructive learning is an online learning journal in which we reflect on our perceptions of the learning materials (ICT Tools). To get a clear sense of this, we've commented on ten of our friend's blogs and commented on how the author learns from the reflections and builds on the knowledge, often fed and stimulated by comments from other educational bloggers. In addition, publishing blogs publicly on the Web can provide a measure of the accuracy of learning tasks. We noticed that blogging software offers a valuable cognitive tool by automating the development, editing, and posting of materials, and by freeing students from the actual task at hand. But we also noticed that adding a real audience by posting assignments on the web creates authentic discourse, and forces learners to think more carefully about articulation. We found that the potential of actual readers, combined with the feedback they received, had a positive impact on their students' writing skills (reflection). Power of comments: input and constructive analysis through comments on blog articles may be effective support tools; they offer direct and comprehensive responses to the suggestions and opinions of the learner.

Constructive tool

Constructive tool
Constructivism is an ideology in which learners create their own knowledge intentionally, or make it their own. This approach helps accentuate teaching and learning as students build their own interpretation, make meaning and knowledge, involve learners constantly, and encourage critical thought. From the lesson I got to realize that the void is being filled up in this world of emerging native nations by linking the approach to ICT. There, technology provides innovative methods of teaching and studying, produces more learner-centered pedagogy, and allows learners to be an inventor of the resources for their own studying.

So far we have been using constructive tools that help us improve users' creativity. We have learned that constructive tools are general-purpose tools that can be used to manipulate information, create knowledge of one's own or visualize one 's understanding. The word 'constructive' stems from the fact that, for a given instructional reason, these tools allow users to create a certain tangible. The word 'constructive' stems from the fact that those tools allow users to create a certain tangible product for a given instructional reason. The concept map program allows users to brainstorm and visualize their understanding of the relationships within a concept set, for example. Desktop publishing software helps users coordinate and display their ideas in an attractive format. Webpage editors encourage users to create their own WebPages and share with the world their ideas. The term, Spreadsheet, and PowerPoint are designed to organize, replicate, log, manipulate and display their ideas in the form of notes, papers, emails, presentations, document routine details in an attractive way.

Word processors are systems that in their early versions have acted as an automated typewriter but these days have advanced so much with their editing capability that spell checkers, grammar checkers, and thesauri have now become important components of the device. Word processors also serve to support written instruction. The method written approach is typically divided into stages such as pre-writing, brainstorming, description, editing, revision, and printing. In keeping with this approach, students may use the outliner function of a word processor to brainstorm main writing ideas first. It helps the users to work together in pairs after brainstorming to discuss how to organize some of the ideas and agree on the presentation sequence using the outliner.

Simulation work using PowerPoint tool (one of the constructive tools)
Simulations are defined as the programs simulating real-life environments. You can also use the visualization systems, models, and their relatives as proactive devices. When we were asked to explore and create one page of stimulated advertising to attract visitors using PowerPoint presentation tools to draw visitors to my own locality it was an enriching and difficult experience for me. I got to learn how to use our ideas in a useful way. Since I was first exploring how to make a simulation, first I had to search for information about how to do it and how to work on it. I think it was a very difficult thing, but wanting to figure out myself was worth it. I realized that constructive tools provide students with the functionality to manipulate some type of information from which they can build a deep understanding of a given concept in all subjects). Constructive tools are especially useful in supporting the process of 'playing with ideas' or involving complicated visualization.

Blog

A blog (weblog shortening) is an electronic publication or informative page presenting material in the reverse chronological sequence, with the most current articles appearing first. This is a forum where a writer, or even a community of authors, expresses their thoughts on a particular topic. It is one of the communicative tools providing the bloggers to publish write up, related images, videos, audio clips, and so on to attract the viewers. The key aim of a blog, though, is to bind you to the appropriate audience. One is to improve your views and deliver content to your website. The more regular and excellent the blog articles are, the greater the odds of the website getting noticed and viewed by your target market. That ensures that a blog is an important method for producing the lead.

Blogs need frequent updates. Good examples include a food blog sharing meal recipes, blogging about your experiences, and sharing of opinions based on the situations. Blogs promote perfect reader engagement. Readers have an opportunity to communicate their various thoughts to the audience. Blog owners periodically refresh their page with new blog entries.

We were also supposed to create an ICT module blog and start writing on various ICT resources in the teaching and learning setting. Exploring blogs was difficult as a novice. However, with the support of the mentor and Internet discovery, I have managed to effectively handle the functionality of the blog and post-reflection on ICT resources. Fortunately, with the support of the mentor and Internet discovery, I have managed to effectively handle the functionality of the blog, and post-reBlogging should be used as a method to connect contact between author and viewer in a learning setting for reflective writing or some other journal entry. Blogging offers a forum for students to explore subjects beyond the school. With a blog, each person has a chance to share their thoughts and opinions.lection on ICT resources. In fact, the input I got from viewers in the comment section helped me improve my writings and generate high-quality writings.

Blogging offers you the chance to be innovative! It is one of the aspects I've always enjoyed the blogging method. Of course, there's a creative writing dimension and an ability to discuss new topics. But there's always a problem-solving dimension to coming up with new ideas (an ability that a blogger also requires. Constantly absorbing knowledge is not the best way to know and develop. We need space to be able to process and reflect information. Blogging will be a perfect opportunity to integrate daily meditation into the classroom curriculum. Many teachers want to encourage this to happen spontaneously, whilst some are scaffolding the reflective cycle with prompts.
